ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ episode 6 preview: Pastor Tom vs. the congregation

Revenge -Sunday night’s “Resurrection” continues to ask difficult questions, including whether or not you want to believe something that is standing right before you … or someone. The irony here is that while you think that a church would be a place that would support faith and miracles, that is not entirely the case with this show.

Instead, the church turns into an angry mob in the sneak peek below from Sunday’s new episode “Home” the moment that Pastor Tom admits that he believes that Jacob is precisely who he says that he is … and then tries to turn the floor over to Agent Bellamy to “answer questions.” Hilarious, mostly because there are no answers that Bellamy can give. The only thing he can do is confirm that there are three people out there who have returned for sure, and one of them in Caleb Richards is not in prison anymore.

Since Bellamy could not offer any real solutions, the concern now for the characters should be a real one that we could see chaos erupt completely on the streets of Arcadia, Missouri. After all, you’re now going to see people take to violence or intimidation to get what they want, which in this case could be the removal of these “strangers who aren’t really strangers” from the town. (We’re still betting that these returnees are aliens who have implanted some of the memories from these dead people and are walking among the town.)

We said this when reviewing the last new episode, but the biggest thing the show needs to do right now is give us something closer to answers. Hasn’t there already been enough waiting? We like to think so.
