Is Jillian Michaels leaving ‘The Biggest Loser’ … again?

Stop up when you’ve heard this one before: Jillian Michaels may be interested in leaving “The Biggest Loser.” This would not be the first time that she has left the NBC series, and this time around, it is just as not-surprising as it was every other time … at least if the rumors out there are true.

So why could Jillian be interested in saying goodbye to this show? There are so many reasons, and most of them stem from some of the controversy that happened at the end of last season with Rachel Frederickson becoming the first winner to ever be underweight at the time the finale aired. Here is what one source had to say per People Magazine:

“She is deeply concerned about the direction the show has been taking. She is turned off by the mean-spirited story lines and poor care of the contestants … Michaels wants to distance herself from the Biggest Loser brand. Especially considering what happened with Rachel, her feeling is that there isn’t proper attention paid to the contestants’ health or wellness.” 

If we had to make a choice, we would predict that we are going to see Jillian depart the show sooner rather than later. For whatever reason, there always seems to be some sort of problem behind the scenes. If you really do not want to be on the show anymore, why be there? Jillian seems to have enough other opportunities out there. Regardless of whatever opinions Michaels might have,t he show has already proven itself to somehow find a way to stay on the air … and it has been the subject of controversy many times already.
