‘Ink Master’ season 4, episode 7 preview: Can Halo, Sausage and Matti adapt?
This season of “Ink Master” started out on a bit of a different path from other seasons as the show seemed to focus a lot more on the drama instead of the artwork. In fact for the most part you barely got to see the tattoos as they would go by in the blink of an eye to instead focus on contestant meltdowns, fights and other assorted chaos. The past two weeks though have brought us back to the basics for the most part – yes there’s still fighting and tension, but in between seeing X-men tattoos and King Ruck tattooing himself (yeah that happened) the show is shifting back to it’s roots and we couldn’t be happier for it.
On the next new episode of “Ink Master” the artists will be tested on adaptability (the ability to be able to take on anything that comes your way). So what will they be tattooing for the flash challenge? The task is to tattoo a word that represents how the canvas gets the most out of life. It may sound easy, but lettering can be very difficult if an artist can’t do good line work. To make things even trickier, the artists also have to include an image and both components have to work together.
We are going to see some of the top artists fall flat in this challenge, unfinished tattoos and one of the top dogs getting praised by the judges for a tattoo that wasn’t legible. There is a lot to see next week so be sure that you tune in to see who goes home.
