‘The Originals’ spoilers: More Joseph Morgan – Daniel Gillies clashes ahead

Originals -For all fans of “The Originals,” this news is probably going to feel rather familiar: There are some more family conflicts lying ahead. Specifically, of course, we are talking about the two family members who are still very much around on the show in Elijah and Kalus.

So what are Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies’ characters going to be at one another’s throats about now? On the upcoming April 22 episode “An Unblinking Death,” the synopsis below teases that it (unsurprisingly) has something to do with the treatment of a certain pack of wolves in New Orleans:

“Desperate to help Kieran (guest star Todd Stashwick), Cami (Leah Pipes) insists on an unconventional treatment, but her good intentions lead Kieran to a violent episode. After Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) disagree over the best way to handle the Crescent Wolves, Elijah makes a trip to the bayou, where he is witness to a horrific explosion that only adds to the hatred and mistrust among the communities. While Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) and Elijah work to save the wounded, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) learns a surprising piece of her family history from Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).”

At some point, these two characters have to get along again, right? If they did, that could be very much the turning point of the entire series … but we don’t think that’s going to happen. After all, the idea of Klaus and Elijah suddenly hanging out as pals is not nearly as compelling television as watching them go at one another’s throats.
