‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: AMC announces first round of casting for Bob Odenkirk show

Are you ready for “Better Call Saul” to just come on the air, already? We’re right there with you, and while the wait until its series premiere in November is a long one, hopefully some of the new casting information that we have for you today will help to tide you over a little bit. This intel comes to us via E! News, and it goes alongside the news that we already know regarding Jonathan Banks joining the show as a series regular in the role of Mike.

Specifically, what the show seems to be looking for right now are lawyers, and plenty of them … which further helps to explain the list of names that we have for you below.

Dr. Thurber – A “brilliant” attorney who is in his fifties, but has some sort of affliction that keeps him from being what he could be. Is this affliction possibly a cancer that forces him to open a side business selling meth?

Beth – A woman who is very good at her job, but she also has a difficult past and her own issues courtesy of someone at the firm who she is involved romantically.

Burt – Described as a “Kennedy type,” he is extremely successful and even has his name on the firm.

Now when it comes to the non-lawyer characters, here are some people with a bit more of an “interesting” background, to put it lightly.

Eddy – A very smart, methodical criminal who is someone who is not going to be the easiest for the good guys to track down.

Zach and Luke – Brothers, and guys known for doing their own scamming and law-breaking. Because they are a tandem, we’re sure that makes them that much more interesting.
