ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3, episode 16 video: Katie Lowes’ Quinn and a cluster of creepy

Is Charlie on “Scandal” the most transparent bad guy of all time? We have no problem seeing through this guy and his force field of general creepiness, mostly because of the way in which he constantly behaves. He never comes across as genuine, and instead seems like he is interrogating Quinn at almost every twist and turn. To be fair, we’re not calling Katie Lowes’ character ridiculous or unintelligent at all with these comments; we feel like she can see through him now to. The only problem that she has is trying to find a way to get out of what is a pretty impossible situation for her. This guy, at least so far, has always been a step ahead when it comes to trapping her.

In the sneak peek video below from tonight’s episode, Charlie makes his latest strategy for dealing with her rather clear: Going through her entire dating history to see if she’ll slip up. While this guy may be a total Creepy Creeps-a-lot, he’s also a smart enough guy to know that Quinn is hiding something from her. He just realizes that if he starts to press or become overtly angry with some of his demands, there is no way at all that he is going to ever get her to talk.

At the end of this sneak peek, we like to imagine Quinn tricking him somehow, and then taking off and going back to the Gladiators … but nothing on “Scandal” is that easy, and we know that he is staying put for at least a little while.
