‘Criminal Minds’ season 9, episode 21 preview: About ‘What Happens in Mecklinburg…’

“Criminal Minds” returned with an all-new episode on CBS this week, and moving forward, it is set to combine both personal stories and also some that also dive more and more in to the personal life of some of the main characters. What is one of the latest examples of that? The new episode airing next week, which carries with the interesting title of “What Happens in Mecklinburg…” and promises to give you more insight into what is going on with the Morgan character.

Before we share too much more on this story, let’s start off the discussion here with a brief preview of what is coming up with this story:

“A series of targeted kidnappings near Memphis have the BAU searching for a commonality between the missing persons and a motive to lead to the UnSub. Meanwhile, Savannah vents her frustration to Morgan about the amount of traveling he does for his job.”

We’ll have a promo for this episode shortly, so be sure to be on the lookout for that. We’ll have additional analysis of it then, as well. Update: You can see the promo below, and since this is “Criminal Minds” that we are talking about here, you really shouldn’t be that surprised at all that this is really all sorts of messed up. You’ve got pig masks, bizarre investigations, and things that are pretty horrifying. We are still occasionally surprised that given how graphic this show is, that it even airs on CBS in the first place.
