‘Big Brother Canada 2’ review: And Andrew wonders why he’s nominated…

Andrew Gordon -In watching Wednesday night’s new episode of “Big Brother Canada 2,” there was one thing that was completely evidence to us: Andrew really didn’t have enough of an interest in staying in this game. Instead, he was more interested in pouting and being bitter over the fact that Canada put him up for eviction in the first place.

The guy has to be smarter, and know that Canada could still control future twists. One example of that? Him cursing at Heather and acting like a total d-bag to her for her choice to not pick Kenny for the Veto. You have to remember that the country is involved in this game, and it’s a hybrid of the US and UK versions of the show. This is why Adel has been a good player: He’s excellent at pandering to Canada, and does it enough that he is able to cover up some of the derogatory things that he has said on the live feed.

The Power of Veto Competition was our favorite part of the hour, mostly because it was such a unique challenge for the show. We don’t get a ton of riddles on this show, especially ones that reminded us of the brilliant-but-canceled “Pan Am.” Plus, it’s nice to see Jon win; despite him having a junk-touching problem, he’s more and more likable every episode on the show. He’s basically the real life version of Nick Miller from “New Girl.”

We understand the anger and the frustration over Slice blocking feed access all weekend, but we at least got a fun episode of the show tonight. It gave good insight on Arlie’s separation from the First Five, Heather’s attempts at actually playing, and the nicer part of the Allison / Andrew relationship. Very entertaining indeed! Grade: B+.
