‘Suits’ season 3, episode 15 preview: A look at ‘Know When to Fold ‘Em’

Are you ready to see where the story on “Suits” goes from here? Last week’s “Heartburn” is an episode that the show is going to have a hard time living up to for a while. It was a poignant story that really gave us so much in the way of depth for the Louis Litt character both in his professional and personal life. (Did the Rick Hoffman – Emmy campaign begin? It’s possible.)

The sad news now is that following this episode, there is no Louis at all in the sneak peek below (via Entertainment Weekly). Instead, what we have is a heck of an intense negotiation between Mike, Harvey, and James that really shows off some of what the show does best: Give us heated, intense negotiations between people who are all operating with their own individual goals in mind.

For Mike and Harvey, the goal here is to put James in a situation where he feels at least even, while ensuring that there is no way that he can bring forth any plaintiffs in the future. Unfortunately for them, he has no interest in such a deal, and will only back off if there is some sort of enormous cash settlement involved.

Maybe all of this negotiating and back-and-forth is one of the reasons why this episode is entitled “Know when to Fold ‘Em.” Regardless of the reason why, we at least have a feeling that this is going to be an exciting one that sets up the season finale rather nicely.
