‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 spoilers: Will Daniel Sharman’s Isaac ever return?
If you are a “Teen Wolf” fan, we would certainly understand the sad feelings over losing a popular character like Isaac. Daniel Sharman made the decision to leave the show in order to do other opportunities, and given that his story was somewhat open-ended, that may be a hard pill to swallow similar to when Colton Haynes said goodbye to the world of Beacon Hills.
So is there any chance at all that we could someday see Isaac again on the show? Since Sharman specifically asked for his character to not be killed off, it’s something that at least has to be considered a possibility since everyone seems to be on good terms. Executive producer Jeff Davis was noncommittal when discussing the subject in a new E! News interview, but he still made it clear that in the right situation, it could happen “whether it’s season four or season five.” Translation? Don’t expect it to be an immediate thing.
For the time being, we expect that the show will try to put at least a little bit of distance between the character of Isaac and everyone else, and there’s a good reason for that: They don’t want to mislead viewers, or give some of them false hope that this guy could someday be returning. They’re a little better off having him fade into the background, and then when the character does eventually return, turning it into more of a major event.
“Teen Wolf” season 4 is also already in the casting / writing process, and trying to get an actor back now who just left the show is a little bit of a quick turnaround. The new season premieres on MTV in just a little over two months, so you can be happy in that at least MTV is not making you wait for very long.
