ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3 spoilers: First look at huge finale, Election Day

More scoop -Are you ready for the big election to be here on “Scandal“? The Moment is finally creeping up, and on Thursday, April 17, it is finally going to be there. The title of this episode is certainly interesting in “The Price of Free and Fair Election,” and it suggests (yet again) that there could be drama as Fitz tries to earn the title of President of the United States. The only difference this time (or so we believe) is that he is going to try to do so without any sort of voter fraud.

While this election is happening, the world will be quaking around Fitz courtesy of a variety of different people, whether you are talking about Olivia Pope’s mother, or a certain guy in Charlie who has spent a ton of time lately with Quinn:

“Election Day has arrived and nothing is off limits as the candidates try to capture votes. Meanwhile, Olivia tries to understand Maya’s motives and Charlie makes a very surprising move.”

It wouldn’t surprise us at all if season 3 ends with the largest cliffhanger possible, even if this may frustrate you. Season 4 is probably not going to begin until either late September or early October depending on if “Grey’s Anatomy” gets a full 22 episodes. Also, you have to assume that the show is going to want to keep something until the show comes back on the air.

What do you think is coming up on the “Scandal” finale, and do you expect there to be character deaths, stunning hookups, or something else that this show has become known for over time?
