ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3, episode 16 preview: ‘The Fluffer’; Kerry Washington’s move
After tonight’s “Scandal” episode, it was pretty clear that there were going to be some big changes in the way in which the show progressed forward. Truths came out about Mellie and Andrew, and Olivia tried to keep the peace … but only got herself further hurt and damaged in the process.
This is what takes us to where we are now moving into next week’s “The Fluffer,” which is set to be a pretty huge episode for so many reasons. There are only two installments left beyond this one, and it has to move almost all stories forward by quite a bit. Before we say anything else, check out the full synopsis below via ABC. Fans of Kerry Washington are going to be surprised courtesy of the very first line:
“Abby steps in as Olivia’s proxy and takes on duties at the White House. Meanwhile, the team continues to investigate B613, and someone throws a wrench in Reston’s presidential campaign.”
The good news for Olivia is that she does at least know more about the B613 operation than she did before tonight’s episode, at least in the form of who could be funding it. The promo below really does not reveal too much beyond what we have said, save for that Olivia is having a breakdown, and things really start to cave in for her courtesy of a few knocks at her door from none other that Jake. It’s the relationship that just won’t go away!

Could we please build on Fitz and Olivia already. Divorce Mellie and Fitz. Let Mellie stay with the new guy!!

want to see a Fitz and Mellie divorce and Fitz and Olivia marriage…why can’t Shonda just kill Mellie off like she did James? We need Mellie gone so that Fitz and Olivia can sustain their relationship and marry!!!!!!!!!

So much for “the love of my life.” I love the roller coaster but this is ridiculous. The characters Fitz and Olivia don’t ring true anymore. It doesn’t make sense anymore. Maybe I need to hold on ’til the end, but right now it’s completely exasperating.

Why are you breaking the relationship up between Fitz and Olivia. There interaction was the best part of the show. You all know how to mess a good thing up. Even though they can’t be together they have good chemistry and are very dynamic in their roles with each other
