‘Bones’ season 9, episode 20 preview: Booth and Brennan meet the high life
Do you want to see something surprising for “Bones” … and also completely different? Well, the upcoming episode in a week is going to focus on just about everything that is going to happen when the show tackles a hot-button issue in marijuana usage.
In case you haven’t heard already, the next new episode is going to be titled “The High in the Low.” Do want to read some more news about it now? Then just take a look at the official synopsis:
“The Jeffersonian team investigates the death an art school dropout struggling with Lupus, whose remains were found inside a log in a forest. When the team learns about the victim’s use of cannabis to treat her pain, it leads them to the dispensary where she worked, and they uncover more shocking details that could have contributed to her death. Meanwhile, squintern Wendell Bray (guest star Michael Grant Terry) returns after starting cancer treatments, and while working on the case, he starts to open up more about his illness, only to reveal some shocking news that may end in his termination.”
We feel in the end like this is going to be a pretty interesting episode, at least when it comes to being one that combines a little bit of the comedy and the drama. Sometimes, what “Bones” does best is give you a mixture of both, and the latter while likely come courtesy of some of the cancer treatments and getting an update on this Wendell character. Here’s to hoping that everything will end up okay for him in the end.
