‘Criminal Minds’ season 9 spoilers: ‘Angels,’ and the end of the story
As we get near the end of “Criminal Minds” season 9, there are obviously many mysteries that do not include what is happening on the screen. For example, one of them is finding out how the show is planning to wrap things up for the year. We already know that there is a season 10, after all, and this allows for there to be a cliffhanger if they so choose.
The issue when it comes to this season is whether or not the show was aware of the renewal in time to create a cliffhanger. Even for a procedural, we feel like there is a lot of value in giving you some sort of serialized tale to end a season, just to keep you excited for the next one.
What we can tell you for now pertains mostly to the penultimate episode of season 9, which may or may not carry over to the finale. According to SpoilerTV, this episode is going to be titled “Angels,” and Roberta A. Bassin was cast to play the part of Linda. There are not any further details about this at the moment, but we’ll have some once they are available.
One of the main reasons why the show may not go with a cliffhanger sort of ending this season is because they had such a crazy conclusion to season 8, and they’ve also had some serialized episodes already this year. The 200th episode and the fallout from that is a good example.
