‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Is there reason to worry for Mona?

No matter what happens on “Pretty Little Liars,” Mona always seems to be somewhat involved with it. Even after she was revealed to be “A” and even when she was seemingly on the Liars’ side, there was always some sort of alternate game going on, or some sort of trick that the character had up her sleeve..

Going into season 5, it is pretty clear that the game has changed at least a little bit. Not only is Alison DiLaurentis at this point alive, but she is also back in the real world again. Everyone in Rosewood will know that this young woman, once screwed over by Mona, was never murdered to begin with. (Of course, in her place now her mother is dead.) This obviously puts Mona in a pretty tricky position, but as Janel Parrish tells E! News in a new interview, there really is not anything to worry about:

“Mona always has tricks up her sleeve. I’m never worried about that girl. She always lands on her feet, somehow and it’s so much fun.”

Maybe we’ll get a chance to see a little bit more of Mona scheming on this new season, or at least we certainly hope so. She’s always been one of the show’s more fascinating and complicated characters, and thanks to that, there are still a number of questions. One of the biggest ones, at least for us, is what in the world was going on with her and Aria’s brother Mike on the show last season.
