‘Game of Thrones’ season 4: See Peter Dinklage’s fun David Letterman chat (video)

Game of Thrones -What happens when you combine one of the most-private stars of “Game of Thrones” with a guy who seems to find a great deal of strange pleasure in tormenting his guests? You basically get one of the more unusual interviews of the show’s publicity tour with Peter Dinklage on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

This interview was, despite the strangeness of it all, very funny … largely because like Tyrion Lannister, Peter seemed well aware of what the game was. Dave has a habit and a supposed appreciation for trolling at times, and he did so with a few jokes here and there. But Peter laughed them off, and even hit Dave back with a jab at how cold he keeps the theater.

There was some talk in here about what working at the “Game of Thrones” set is like, but for longtime Peter fans, he also talks a little bit about his history growing up an actor, what some of his particular hopes and dreams were even before he got into performing, and also living with a cat in Brooklyn who he got to keep away mice, even though he wasn’t a cat person at all.

This interview follows up another one that Dinklage gave this week, where he shared a few more thoughts about what is coming up for his character. That one played more specific, while Letterman was more about the broad strokes.

What did you think about this interview: Did it make you laugh, and did you enjoy it when Peter really did start to open up?
