‘Suits’ season 3, episode 15 preview: Moving past ‘Heartburn,’ Louis Litt situation

Was tonight’s “Suits” episode a huge one? You better believe it. “Heartburn” was stuffed full of surprises from start to finish, with the biggest one being that it was Louis Litt of all people who suffered from the heart attack.

Two things really came out of this episode: Seeing how Louis was devastated by the news that Sheila didn’t want a family with him (and therefore seemingly ending his relationship), and also then seeing how the firm went all sorts of berserk without him there. Who knew that he was really so important to the stabilization of the place? Mike went a little too crazy without him around, and Mr. Litt Up is actually pretty good at his job.

Now, let’s take a look at the next new episode … at least in the form of the official synopsis below:

“Harvey faces off with a relentless attorney who goes after one of his biggest clients, Mike has to make a big decision, and former name partner Charles Van Dyke has an ax to grind.”

The only thing that we know about this one is that we have a really hard time imagining how the show will top what we saw tonight. “Heartburn” was in our mind of the best “Suits” episodes to date, as it combined almost everything that we love to see: Great drama, strong performances (in particular from Rick Hoffman), and also some of the sharpest writing that we have seen over the show’s run.

Given that we are close to the end of the road now, we can only imagine that things are going to somehow get even crazier from here.
