‘True Blood’ season 7: See Alexander Skarsgard, Prince Harry have fun in Antarctica
We maybe don’t know if “fun” really is the right word to describe anything that is in Antarctica (after all, it is so stinking cold there!), but the video below via NBC News shows probably about as much fun as you could possibly have while on the frozen continent.
The video is from a special that aired on the network last night about the recent trek to Antarctica that Prince Harry made for charity with a variety of guests, and one of the adventure-seekers was none other than a personal favorite from “True Blood” in Alexander Skarsgard. Despite being a pretty dramatic guy on TV, Alex seemed to be one of the greatest sources of comic relief there. In this clip in particular, he is seen first sporting a fake beard and using a silly accent, and after that, he tries his best to try and feed Harry some of the provisions for the trip. It’s all worthy of a laugh or two, and it is also nice to see that everyone involved here has a great sense of humor.
Skarsgard has already been in the headlines some already with the photos that he has taken of the trip, which included him posing in various states of undress in the midst of all the snow and ice around him. This trip took place around the holiday season, which is actually summer on the continent and also before he had to start up work on the seventh and final season of the HBO drama. There’s no premiere date yet for the show, but you can probably expect it back at some point in June or July. Be on the lookout for a new love interest to enter Eric Northman’s world, and we have to hope that this could lead him on the path to a happy ending.
