ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Boss on Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion’s planning scenes

Castle and Beckett -Is there going to be an actual Castle – Beckett wedding taking place on “Castle” in the near future? We know that the fans want to see it, and there are no indications that the ceremony is ever going to get called off. However, there is still quite the struggle coming up when it comes to how some of the characters deal with everything leading up to the ceremony, and if there are any external factors that will come into play.

While you do see the two of them go through struggles and conflicts on a regular basis, though, know this: The plan is not to make Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic have to shoot a number of miserable scenes for their actual wedding. Rather, the goal is to make sure that they have many opportunities (as many as possible, really) to have the best wedding that they can, and for the fans to get what they have been hoping for. Just check out what series creator Andrew W. Marlowe had to say to Give Me My Remote on the subject of wedding planning in all of its various definitions:

“I think that what the two of them want from their wedding is going to play out for the audience. I think we’re going to play fair with them, and show Castle and Beckett try and have the wedding they want.

“What I’ll say is we’re trying to present a couple who are in the process of planning a wedding, and things get talked about, and things come up as you get close to the date. We think it would be unfair not to talk about it, not to show it, because it is very much a part of their lives.”

Marlowe also hinted that at least part of the “mythology” that we have seen on the show this season could return, but that could come in very different forms. You have Senator Bracken out there considering a greater run for office (which is the more surface threat), and then there is also the possibility that 3KX is still alive (which is something that can be come back to at almost any point in the show’s run).

“Castle” will not return until Monday, April 21 with new episodes, but we will try to do just about everything in our power to ensure that there is some more good stuff to share until then. For now, our suggestion is to click here to watch a preview for the next new episode, entitled “That 70’s Show.” You Can also sign up for our CarterMatt Newsletter in the event that you really do want more news from us sent right to your email.
