‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Young actor cast for potential long-term story

“Grey’s Anatomy” has seen a revolving door of patients over the years with unusual conditions. Some have gone on to live what we are guessing are pretty happy and healthy lives, whereas others have not been so lucky.

To us, the biggest surprise here of all may be the fact that over the ten seasons that the show has been on the air, no one has touched on the “bubble boy” story until now. That is a very cruel way to describe the condition to begin with, but there is so much emotion that can be mined from the idea of being loved, but also isolated to the point where you cannot experience much of what the rest of the world can.

Here is what we can tell you now about the show’s possible plans to go down this road. (Remember, nothing has been confirmed.) According to The Hollywood Reporter, a young actor by the name of Armani Jackson has signed on to play the part of a young man  whose story may eventually revolve around similar themes, and that the actor is going to work extensively with Chandra Wilson (Bailey) and Justin Chambers (Alex) while he is on the show. This story is set to take place over multiple episodes.

The importance of these sort of stories is probably underrated at times by some of the fans, mostly because it is the interpersonal moments and the romance that often are talked about the most. Without medicine and without cases for the doctors to tackle, there would be no reason for them to even show up at work. Medicine ties the show together, and allows it to be more successful in the end.
