‘The Following’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Can anyone stop Joe’s new cult?

In some ways, the next new episode of “The Following” is going to feel very much like more of the same. You still have Joe Carroll out there doing some particularly evil things, and you have Ryan Hardy and company doing their best to figure out where he is. Also, you have other killers on the loose, and Claire has somehow found her way back into the picture after previously being assumed dead.

In the next new episode “Freedom,” you are going to see Natalie Zea’s character in particular consider risking almost everything in Witness Protection in order to help Ryan Hardy. Also, there will be pandemonium surrounding Luke and a hospital room, and there will be more madness courtesy of Lily. The promo gives you some of this insight, and then you also have more courtesy of the synopsis below:

“A deadly massacre, thought to be sparked by Joe Carroll, leads Ryan and Mike into very dangerous territory. But as more details are revealed, they realize another leader might be on the rise. Meanwhile, Joe continues to train the Korban cult and confirms his new plans with Emma and those who doubt him.”

The danger now with this religious cult is evidence: It’s religion. Anytime that you have people who are willed to actually believe in something, that means potentially that you are in very big trouble down the line. There are a handful of episodes left, so don’t think that we are near the finish line with this just yet.
