‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Whose ‘Ravenswood’ story will be resolved?

The sad thing about “Ravenswood” being canceled is simply that the story is in some ways over, and the actors and crew members on the show are now out of a job. However, the good news is that thanks to the presence of “Pretty Little Liars,” you may still have an opportunity to see some of these characters have a reasonable amount of closure … or at least more than they would otherwise get.

You have probably heard already that Tyler Blackburn is going to return at some point, and be a series regular again on the show that started it all for him. Executive producer Oliver Goldstick also suggests to E! News that you have have more of Miranda’s story resolved, and he had the following to say in addition to it:

“Yes, we’re going to try to be as economic and yet elegant as possible without belaboring because they’re not on screen … But I think, you know, residents of Ravenswood may even come back to Rosewood. In addition to Tyler, you might have some familiar faces crashing in. Not permanently, just time to time, because he did have a world there.”

The difficult balance that has to be maintained here is that you want to try to satisfy those who kept up with “Ravenswood,” but at the same time not take away from the story that is going on here. After all, “Pretty Little Liars” is the show that was not canceled, and as cruel as it may be to say, ABC Family is probably not going to want to waste too much time on a story that viewers were not responding to enough to keep on the air.
