‘Ink Master’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Hugh Jackman, Wolverine and mutant super powers

We’ve always loved seeing “Ink Master” bring comic book themed challenges onto the show (we are still gushing over Joey Hamilton’s Catwoman piece from last year), so when we heard that X-Men, Hugh Jackman and mutant super powers were going to be featured in the next episode we were giddy with excitement.

When it comes to the flash challenge we will be seeing the artists taking on the very difficult task of showing off their skills in technical precision (all lines and shading must be absolutely perfect) and we immediately worry for Roland since his line work hasn’t always been the strongest. When it was revealed that the artists won’t necessarily be tattooing X-Men characters, but actually a representation of a mutant super power that the canvas wants to have we knew that this was a challenge that only the strongest artists were really going to be able to pull off since this requires an incredible amount of imagination.

Scott was a force to be reckoned with on the last episode of “Ink Master” as he won both the flash challenge and best tattoo of the day and his advantages don’t end there. At this next flash challenge he will get to pick the canvas of his choosing while the rest of the artist had their canvases randomly selected. This was a very tough challenge and we were surprised that this was a flash challenge and not the elimination tattoo challenge.
