‘Survivor: Cagayan’ episode 5 preview: Could someone quit the game?
There’s something very sad about getting a prediction right when it comes to “Survivor,” especially when it revolves around someone potentially quitting the game.
For whatever reason, we just imagined it happening with Lindsey. She never has seemed that interested in the strategy portion of the game, and she seems to get very affected emotionally by things. None of this is good news. So when she gets really annoyed by Trish, and even throws the word “bully” in there, we’re surprised. We cannot say if that is true at all, but we haven’t seen any evidence of it. Trish may just annoy Lindsey to the point where she feels like she is being attacked, and may also feel betrayed by the fact that she and Tony flipped on her in voting out Cliff.
The preview for next week’s episode (which aired after what happened tonight) featured Jeff Probst seemingly making a visit to the camp, and asking Lindsey whether or not she is okay. We don’t think he would show up if there was anything other than a serious issue … which could somehow involve a quit taking place.
So if she does quit, could there actually be a double-elimination taking place next week? Let’s just put it this way: The show has gone with some juries of eight as of late, and that means that we could go into the merge with 11 if there is another tribal council. Personally, we feel like this is how things could go.
