‘Teen Wolf’ season 3: MTV creates website after Allison – Crystal Reed shocker

What's next? -Obviously, we’ll start this article off with a massive SPOILER ALERT: If you have yet to see the last new episode of “Teen Wolf,” we suggest that you stop reading now. Otherwise, keep on reading for some on what is one of the most interesting ways that we have seen a network react to the loss of an important character.

Still reading? Well, then you clearly know that Allison is no longer a part of the show, and her death on Monday completely rocked the fan community. Most people did not see it coming, and we’ve learned since the episode aired that the reason for this was that Crystal Reed was interested in moving on from the show to do some other things.

MTV has now created an extensive memorial site, where you can post comments about the character, hear cast reactions to her death, and also watch her final scene on the show again and again. It’s a nice way to help fans grieve, and applause to the majority of the fans for being nice and classy with it. MTV obviously has a lot invested in “Teen Wolf,” and this is a way for them to show that they realize the fans feel the same way.

So why kill her off at all? This is the best explanation we can give you. If Jeff Lewis and the writers knew that the character was leaving and would likely never return, it would be too cruel to have her depart in the same way that Colton Haynes left. Allison wouldn’t do that to either Scott or Isaac. Therefore, they had the challenge of having to send the character off in a way that would make sense to her, that way she did not hurt any of the other characters. This was the only effective way to do it.
