‘American Horror Story’ season 4: What ‘Glee’ star would love a role?

American Horror Story -We may not know much about “American Horror Story” season 4 right now in terms of theme or storyline, but we do at least know one thing: Someone from the world of another Ryan Murphy show in “Glee” would love to make the jump over and try it out after years of singing and wearing brightly-colored costumes.

So who is the lucky one petitioning for the role? It’s none other than Lea Michele! The actress has been one of the golden children of the musical comedy and won many awards, but she would like to give something else a shot … even if she recognizes that her commitments would make it very hard for her to appear in the fourth season of the horror show. Speaking in a new interview with Billboard, she said the following about her prospects of getting on the show someday:

“I’ve basically talked to [Ryan] about it every day. If I could get my fans to start working on that for me, that would be great. I’ve been literally begging him … But it would probably have to be for their season five or something like that. I think it would be a great opportunity for people in the acting world to see. I moved to L.A. after working on Broadway and immediately got Glee. People were introduced to me as Lea Michele, but really as Rachel Berry. Outside of Glee and outside of this record will be continued opportunities for people to see me as an actor and as a singer.”

To date, Ryan has been hesitant to cross one show’s cast with the other, with the likely reason for that being that he wants them both to have a separate identity. However, he has shown an interest in doing this at times in the past, and a great example of that is NeNe Leakes with “Glee” and “The New Normal.” You cannot really rule out Lea if the right part ever comes along for her.

As for what we know for sure about “American Horror Story” season 4, it is that Gabourey Sidibe and Lily Rabe are the two latest actresses unlikely to return as major characters after signing on for new pilots.
