‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Emilia Clarke – Kit Harrington premiere scoop!
Is it time to rejoice over the return of “Game of Thrones” to television? While we recognize that it may be a tad premature (given that the show does not technically return to HBO with new episodes until April 6), we also feel like it is never too early to start handing out teasers … especially when it is about the show’s first episode back.
The biggest thing that we have to say right now revolves around Danaerys (Emilia Clarke), who is going to start to see some serious resistance for the first time in a while … and it is from the very thing that makes her truly powerful. According to TV Guide, she is going to struggle when she starts to realize that she does not have the control that she wants or needs over her dragons. Without them, she no longer has anywhere near the same sort of authority.
As for some other stories, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) is going to return to the Night’s Watch, but will realize along the way that not everyone is ready to give him a full-on welcome after being a member of the Wildings. The only good news for the Stark family that we can pass along here is that Arya (Maisie Williams) may be able to get her first bit of revenge over everyone in Westeros who has wronged her family … and this will be a theme for the character for quite a long time.
One more thing: Those of you interested in seeing some of Oberyn Martell will be pleased to know that Pedro Pascal’s character will be present in King’s Landing, and his discussions with all of the Lannisters could be fairly intense.
