‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 finale spoilers: The role of Ali moving forward

The “Pretty Little Liars” finale on Tuesday night is entitled “A Is For Answers,” and with a title like that, it is certainly reasonable that you would expect some crazy things to happen. As for what those crazy things are, hopefully we can help pass along even just a little bit of information now.

According to a new report from TVLine, Alison DiLaurentis is going to have a much more significant role in the story the rest of the way. Not only is she going to play a pretty enormous part in the season 4 finale, but you better get ready to see a whole lot more of her in season 5 of the show, as well. This is something that so many of us assumed would be happening for season 4, and rightfully so following the reveal that she was Red Coat. But obviously, there is still a beast within Rosewood city limits that is keeping her from coming home and living her life.

So who (or what) is this monster? The preview for the finale teased that we would certainly get more information on them … but information does not always equal a reveal. One other thing that we will continue to stress when it comes to these characters is that “A” and Alison’s supposed killer may have a connection, but that does not mean that they are one and the same. It still seems to be very much possible to us that you can solve one mystery, and then have another one linger for a little while longer.
