‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Wilson Bethel’s Wade as man in the middle
You’ve been waiting for a long time now to get some new “Hart of Dixie” episodes, and thanks to that, we love passing along any and all information that we get … especially when it revolves around some potentially-fun episodes like the one we are talking about here in “Carrying Your Love With Me,” even if you’re going to be waiting until all the way in early April to see it.
The first thing that’s obvious after reading the synopsis below is that you are actually going to see Joel and Zoe still together, which we know that some out there have a little bit of an uneven opinion about. It feels like there is going to be some tension there as they work on a renovation … but that will not be the only tension that comes about in this episode. After all, Wilson Bethel’s character is going to be stuck as the middleman in what will have to be a pretty uncomfortable situation for him:
“Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Joel (guest star Josh Cooke) are frustrated by all the snags they keep running into while trying to remodel their new home. Rose (guest star McKaley Miller) persuades Lavon (Cress Williams) to agree that BlueBell will be sister cities with a town in France. Lemon (Jaime King) convinces George (Scott Porter) to help her out with a business venture, but in order for things to go smoothly, Wade (Wilson Bethel) has to play peacemaker. Meanwhile, Brick (Tim Matheson) sees an opportunity to become BlueBell’s Man of the Year, but he soon discovers he has some tough competition.”
In case you are curious, this is an episode directed by none other than Matheson himself, who is adding to his arsenal of “Hart of Dixie” episodes. For a guy who is a series regular, he gets a chance to go behind the chair more than most other TV actors out there. After all, this is not an easy process to do, since it takes weeks to go along with your other duties.

This season has been a total waste of time thanks to the Zoe/Joel saga perpetuated by the show’s writers. Nobody cares about this pair as a couple and yet they have been the focus of EVERY episode. I don’t care that they are having problems with their house, just get Joel a one way ticket back to NYC. Time for the REAL romance to continue between Zoe and Wade…come on, enough already.
