‘Survivor: Cagayan’ episode 4 preview: Is a tribal swap coming?
Anytime that you have a season of “Survivor” that starts off with three tribes, you can generally assume that a merge of sorts is coming after the fourth tribal council … and based on the preview that aired after Wednesday night’s new episode, it looks like the moment is coming.
Jeff Probst says the words “drop your buffs,” and we are instantly excited. So who could use some help from new allies? We have to think that Morgan, Cliff, and Lindsey are at the top of the list thanks to their status on the outside of their tribes. Depending on how the new tribes stack up, this could be a brand-new lease on life.
That is probably the most interesting thing right now: Trying to figure out where these new tribes are going to stand. Will they all be randomized? The Brains better hope so, given that any other combination would probably signal instant trouble for them. Let’s just hope that a random draw is actually random and interesting. After all, remember how terrible that draw was in “Survivor: One World”? As dominant as Kim’s alliance was, that was the one thing that really helped them make it to the end of the game all in one piece. The draw during “Survivor Cagayan” was really not that much better.
Even with all of these swaps, we still have a feeling that the people that are in a very great position right now are those like Alexis or Woo. Nobody’s targeting them, and they are not making huge enough moves to be a problem.
