‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9 spoilers: First look at Barney, Robin’s wedding!

You have been literally waiting from the start of “How I Met Your Mother” season 9 for wedding of Barney and Robin, and the good news that we have for you now is that it’s finally just about here! The March 24 episode is the big ceremony for Neil Patrick Harris and Cobie Smulders’ characters, and it will hopefully be everything that you have been forward to seeing and then some.

The first thing that’s a little odd? The fact that the groomsmen are much more present than the bridesmaids, which just reminds you further how much of this show has been focused around the guys. Also, it seems as if someone convinced Lily to not wear her wedding dress to this wedding, after all.

Now, we turn to the other photo here of the bride and groom! Clearly, the two make it to the altar despite whatever sort of problems that they have going into it. The two at least appear to be pretty happy, and you’ve got the honorable Ben Vareen presiding in front of them reading the vows. For all of the craziness that is around on this show, this actually looks like a pretty straightforward affair.

So what about the Mother? She is a little bit more involved in the reception side of things, as she has no real reason to be at a ceremony for people that she hardly knows. Maybe that will change at some point between now and then, but we very much doubt it.
