‘The Bachelorette’: Andi Dorfman ‘insanely’ grateful for season 10 gig
Let’s all take a deep breath now that “The Bachelor” is over, and look forward to the fact that “The Bachelorette” is just around the corner. The new season featuring Andi Dorfman as the leading lady is now confirmed, and we know now that it will shoot this spring, and likely premiere on ABC in either late May or early June.
Following her first interview on the show last night about her new gig with Chris Harrison, we also had an opportunity to hear Andi share the following quote on Twitter all about her getting the chance to find love on TV:
“Am I dreaming?!? Insanely grateful, happy and most of all ready to find love!!! #cloudnine”
After reading this, there is almost no reason at all to be insanely concerned about whether or not Andi is going to do a great job as the leading lady for ABC. After all, she brings so much here to the table in between having a good sense of humor, a story that is easy to grab onto, and just a general sense of openness. Also, she has the benefit of reasonably low expectations for the show as of late. Juan Pablo Galavis was a terrible “Bachelor,” and while Desiree Hartsock wasn’t a terrible person or anything, she never exactly popped off of the screen and entertained. Andi has a chance to be the best star of the show since Sean Lowe, and we feel like she will succeed as long as her men are at least remotely interesting.
