“Glee” loves its competition episodes, and with the upcoming trip to Nationals airing on Tuesday night, we are getting ready to see a little bit more of that.
First of all, we’re sure that the show loves the fact that they don’t have to pretend this week like they are anywhere other than Los Angeles, and while the cast may be a little more cynical and jaded now about the idea of doing a lot of touristy California things, to some of these characters it’s of course one of the greatest things ever. Who in their shoes wouldn’t love the opportunity to take part in some of this stuff?
In the video below, Darren Criss gives what is ultimately a very fun little tour of L.A. from the vantage point of the characters, as they all get a tour of the city while singing (of course) a little number all about it. While we don’t expect anything on the level here of what happened when “Glee” first visited New York, it will probably be something similar. Another big thing to remember here is that unlike the New York trip the first time, the show has at least waded in the L.A. pond before, especially with a memorable Puck scene.
As for what happens at Nationals, the promo is sadly not exactly revealing.
