‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9, episode 19 preview: Ted, The Mother, and a cute moment

Want to say “aww” after watching a sneak peek? Then odds are, you are probably going to love what this latest peek of Monday night’s “How I Met Your Mother” has to offer. This scene is all about Ted and The Mother at some undetermined period of time in the future, and it features the two basically proving to one another that they literally know everything that there is to know about each other. Somehow, Ted has found a way to tell his wife about every little thing that has happened to him. Given all the stories that he has told, we don’t quite know how that is even possible.

One of the more interesting things about the Ted – Mother dynamic that we’ve seen so far is that everything seems to be so happy-go-lucky for them, almost as though the writers want to constantly remind us that once they are together, almost every problem is washed away completely. Do we really feel like that is true? Probably not, but the conflicts that they face are probably petty and not as important.

For those who actually want to see that first meeting in the present, the good news is that you should not be waiting that much longer at all. There are only a few episodes left in the series after this one before the finale, and that meeting is therefore guaranteed to be soon … and hopefully glorious and worthy of a tissue box.
