‘True Detective’ episode 7 spoilers: Rust, Martin, and ‘After You’re Gone’ teases
Now that there are only two episodes left on “True Detective” before the series comes to a close, HBO has decided that it is very much in their favor to try and be as secretive as possible regarding the story. Thanks to this, there are not exactly many spoilers out there about “After You’re Gone” from Sunday night, and nor is there a preview video.
To us, probably the biggest surprise is just how not afraid the show is of airing up against the Academy Awards, which is a huge ratings suck for almost anything that can be considered quality of programming. We won’t waste too much time on that, though, since we know what you are really here for. According to TV Guide, one of the biggest revelations that you are going to have an opportunity to see Sunday night is what in the world happened to Rust in the many years since his resignation from the force. You’ll find out whether or not he really is the Yellow King, a killer, or something else entirely. Maybe he just went home and practiced making people out of beer cans.
Also, you’ll get a chance tos ee the current state of Martin Hart’s operation as a P.I. now that he is also no longer with the force, and we hope that there is some more insight into the way in which he left there. Granted, it should be pretty easy to figure out what went wrong when you consider the fact that he previously has went against orders, and had a violet fight with Rust out in the middle of the street.
