‘Bones’ season 9: spoilers: Oscar nominee nabs maternal role

Over the past couple of months, you have more than likely associated Friday nights like this one with all-new episodes of “Bones.” However, you’re now going to be waiting for a new night to roll around. Episodes are not going to be back on Fox until Monday, March 10, and from this point on, we’ll have a series of new mysteries that will be on a night when more people are actually home.

One thing we can tell you now is that Cam is going to be getting an opportunity make another move forward in her romantic life; specifically, she’s meeting Arastoo’s mother! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo (“The Mob Doctor,” “Grimm”) is on board to play the part for an upcoming episode, which should give her a little more insight as to whether or not this is a family that she wants to get herself mixed up with in the long-term.

Given that most of the personal problems for Booth and Brennan leading up to their wedding have long been resolved, it makes sense now for the show to transition into what some of the other characters are up to for the time being. Most of the stories for David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel’s characters, meanwhile, are probably going to be a little bit more domestic and geared towards issues that don’t shape whether or not they are going to be together. That seems to be pretty set in stone, and will not change much over the weeks ahead.
