‘American Horror Story’ season 4: Is Lily Rabe leaving franchise? Pilot raises questions
Is there a real American Horror Story happening now in the world of TV castings? Well, it could be if you really wanted to see Lily Rabe stick around on the Ryan Murphy series for more seasons.
The news coming out today is the sort of thing that is good for the actress, and could actually be good for all of us at the end of the day. We just have to take a few minutes to sit back and digest it. Sources confirm that Rabe will appear in “The Visitors,” the ambitious new ABC pilot that is all about a battle to save the human race from a mysterious alien enemy, who is trying to basically take the resources of the planet, and then use them against its inhabitants. The imaginative Steven Spielberg is on board as an executive producer, which gives him another alien show to go with “Falling Skies.”
As for who Rabe is going to play, her role is a child specialist with the FBI named Claire Bennigan. She is extremely smart and skilled when it comes to analyzing behavior patterns of young people, and has helped countless as a result. However, what happens when her own son is in danger thanks to the invasion? That is something that will be at the center of the show for her.
We are excited about Rabe getting another opportunity, even if she has been one of the best parts of “American Horror Story” over the years. Her characters have been everything from chilling to exciting, and hopefully she will still have a chance to show up here and there even if this pilot gets picked up to series.
