‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: See Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, more talk throwing shade

Before “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” premiered, just how popular was the notion of “throwing shade”? We’re going to reckon it was something that not too many people at all were talking about.

Well, now a good many people are talking about it all the time like it is some sort of random, bizarre phenomenon … and we’ve got a new video for you from Bravo below that should teach you a little bit more all about it (hilariously enough). The likes of Phaedra Parks, NeNe Leakes, and the rest of the cast are there to offer what is basically one of the biggest shade seminars out there. They teach you a thing or two about what it means to throw shade, whether or not there are right and wrong ways to do it, and other good stuff. All in all, it is a pretty fun sight to behold.

We actually find this video to be more entertaining at times than the actual show, mostly because it is another reminder that despite how silly everyone may act on the show at times, these are people who are very self-aware, and know that there are certain ways of doing things that can incite a bigger reaction than others. That is an interesting thing to note, since you really don’t always get that from watching some of the episodes. It instead at times feels like a garbled mess of various emotions. That is especially true as of late when it comes to the aftermath of that infamous pajama party, which should go down as one of the ugliest moments in show history.
