‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Brandi Glanville, Lisa Vanderpump face off

Stop us when this one sounds familiar: It’s near the end of a season of “The Real Housewives” franchise, and we are going to see some of the characters scream at each other and cry. At this point, we expect that you have probably yelled “stop” already. This happens with almost any show regardless of what location you are talking about!

So on Monday night’s new episode, the majority of the cast (with one exception) will be in Puerto Rico for what is in theory going to be all about rest and relaxation. However, it becomes pretty clear that there is going to be far more than happens beyond that. Kyle Richards is still firmly on the mind of many of the ladies, and a shocking confrontation between Yolanda Foster, Brandi Glanville, and Lisa Vanderpump leads to the latter doing something that she almost rarely ever does: Try to get away from a situation.

“All the ladies, except Carlton, head off for a vacation in Puerto Rico. The relaxation doesn’t last long after Yolanda and Brandi confront Lisa about the doubts they have regarding their friendships. A battle royale erupts over dinner, and Lisa and Ken leave the table, calling it a sabotage attack.”

You better believe that all of this is going to be good fodder for the reunion, since there is nothing that Andy Cohen at times seems to love more than bringing up late-season arguments that still have some sort of unresolved feelings and loose ends in the present. There is a part of us that wants to really just see a vacation episode someday of watching rich people do very rich things and be pleasant about it … but we’re probably in the minority when it comes to that.
