‘How I Met Your Mother’ series finale: When is it being filmed?
The “How I Met Your Mother” series finale is coming up soon, and we now have an answer to what may be a pressing question for many of you: When is it being filmed?
The big news is that starting today, the cast and crew are going to be on hand to shoot some of the first scenes of what will very likely be an emotional journey for everyone involved. According to co-creator Craig Thomas on Twitter, the cast will film from Tuesday until Friday of this week, and then again on Thursday and Friday of next week. That’s only six days in order for the likes of Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders, and more to say goodbye.
As for the writing staff, they officially have wrapped things up now, meaning that they have already had to say goodbye to what had to be a very creative and fun writers room over the past several months and years. There are not that many opportunities to work on a show with so many callbacks, or with such geeky stuff in it.
Luckily, there is still a spiritual successor out there in “How I Met Your Dad,” which is going to potentially start airing in the fall depending on how the folks over at CBS feel about it. This is a show that could in theory have quite a bright future ahead of it, but there are many variables and things that need to go its way. Luckily, it does still have Greta Gerwig as a part of the cast.
