‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: Kensi’s search for the White Ghost continues

Usually on Tuesday nights, you get an opportunity to enjoy a double-dose of new “NCIS” episodes … especially in February. However, a not-so-little sporting event known as the Olympics has completely come in and messed up that plan, which means that March (at least the part of it not filled with the NCAA Tournament) is going to be a time to jump back into this universe again.

What we are here to talk about first and foremost is the upcoming “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode (the 16th of season 5) that carries with it the title of “Fish Out of Water,” and when you read the synopsis below, the name almost instantly feels that much more brilliant:

“Following an explosion at a fish market, the NCIS: LA team partners with an undercover DEA agent to determine if the incident is an act of terrorism or a botched drug smuggling deal. Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, Granger and Kensi investigate a helicopter crash that could be tied to their ongoing search for the infamous white ghost.”

We know that we’ve said this before, but is anyone else just as amazed with the way in which the show has handled Daniela Ruah’s pregnancy so far? While the downside is that you’re not seeing that much of her with the rest of the cast, the upside is that you are still getting plenty of the character, and you wouldn’t know that anything is happening at all in the actress’ personal life.
