‘The Originals’: Claire Holt joins Joseph Morgan, cast at PaleyFest

Rebekah -There’s another addition to the PaleyFest panel for “The Originals” coming up next month, and we’re pleased to say that it is someone who is certainly rather popular with the fans already: Claire Holt.

It was somewhat strange that the actress behind Rebekah was absent on the list of attendees to the show’s March 22 panel, mostly because just about every other major cast member for the series was on board. However, that has now been officially corrected! Show executive producer Julie Plec was kind enough to confirm the news on her Twitter account, and added that fellow EP Michael Narducci will also be present (just in case you hadn’t heard about that addition to the event already).

For those who are unfamiliar with PaleyFest, this is basically an annual TV mega-event where every day for around two weeks, there is a panel featuring some of the stars and creators behind some of your favorite shows. You can attend these events live, and in recent years they have also thankfully made the events free to stream online. We’ll have more information on this as we get a little bit closer to the event actually happening.

“The Originals” is currently on its Olympics-related hiatus, but in case you are missing the show badly, don’t worry: It will be back on the air soon enough. The next new edition will be come on Tuesday, February 25, and this will be one that further explores more of Rebekah’s past. Both she and Klaus are going to be the subject of possible torture in the present, while in the past Rebekah and Genevieve’s days at a hospital will be further chronicled.
