NBC’s ‘The Voice’ winner Tessanne Chin shares memory of Will Champlin, Jacquie Lee
Are you suffering from a serious withdrawal of “The Voice“? If so, we get it. After all, there are no new episodes on NBC until Monday, but as a means to hopefully tide you over, how about a reminder of how great the top three were this past season?
Earlier this season, the likes of reigning champ Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee, and Will Champlin all took part in the annual Rose Parade in Pasadena, and seemed to have a good time as a part of the first-ever “Voice” float. While we wish that Al Roker and Hoda Kotb were a little more informed about them, it was still a pretty nice way to kick off the year.
This week, Tessanne also shared on her official Instagram page (which you can also see below) a nice little memory of her time with Will and Jacquie, and included a little caption about what was going on behind the scenes:
“Awe. Me @jacquieleemuse and @willchamplin got a chance to put flowers in @nbcthevoice float for the Rose Parade. Every float had to be decorated with 100% organic material. Was such an amazing experience, and soooooooo many flowers!!!!!”
Tessanne is in the process now of recording her debut album, which will hopefully be in stores at some point later this year. Given the history of “The Voice” finding a way to promote some of their own, we very much expect her to be making at least one appearance on the upcoming season with a song to perform. We’ll have a little bit more news about that as it comes out, and the same goes for some of the other contestants from this past season.

She is going nowhere in the business. New singers today like Lorde and Ariana Grande is the future of music. Young, pretty, and talented is what the music industry is looking for.

Well what do you know, Tessanne happens to be all three of those! Yay! Thanks for agreeing she’ll be successful Tony!

For those who don’t know Tony Tan, this guy was (and apparently still is) an overly obsessed Jacquie Lee fan who spent WEEKS slandering Tessanne with lies.
He called her too famous for the show (unaware that several other contestants from that season and previous seasons were even more famous, and they were famous in AMERICA) and then when that wasn’t working, he began trying to spread a fake voting conspiracy, claiming that Jamaicans were voting for her in Jamaica. For one, anyone with half a brain knows that you can’t vote outside the U.S. because of IP addresses. For two, even IF that tiny country could vote, it would be a drop in the bucket compared to the votes she got from America. Now that THAT wasn’t working either, he’s resorted to just saying that she won’t be successful. He’s completely unaware of the amount of famous cosigns she’s gotten and the amount of hitmaking writers and producers she’s already worked with on her debut album. LOL
