ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: More on Stana Katic’s Beckett, undercover mission
“Castle” has some crazy stories coming up ahead, and if you are a big-time fan of Stana Katic and the Beckett character, we know that episode 6×17 is going to be one that you want to park yourself in front of your TV for. We always encourage watching live, but this time around we’d almost demand it in the event that you are afraid of having something spoiled for you.
We wrote recently about there being an episode that is going to put Beckett undercover, and “In the Belly of the Beast” is it. There will be some of the action in here that you’ve been missing as of late, since she’ll have to really demonstrate all of her best skills as a cop to even stay alive. But what happens when a familiar face turns up? That’s when things could get crazy.
ABC just released the official synopsis for this episode, and you can check that out below:
“Beckett is recruited to assist on a Narcotics investigation, but a routine mission turns deadly when an undercover operation goes array. To survive, Beckett must engage in a battle of wits against some of the most dangerous men in the New York underworld – including a powerful enemy from her past.”
The savvy thing that ABC did pull off here is that they actually didn’t disclose at all in the press release who was going to be appearing as this “powerful enemy.” Therefore, nobody is going to know until they turn up. Love surprises? Then this may be the biggest one of the season so far, at least when it comes to the press being in the dark.

I’m truly & mainly a STANA KATIC fan & I can’t wait for this coming episode…..
especially, since there are only a few left to end the season! She is such a very
Outstanding & talented actress that I really admire in all the work that she does.
I watch CASTLE because of her, and will follow her career & other endeavors
Even after the SERIES ends. She’s really great!!!!!

It sounds like Beckett and Castle won’t be working together in this episode. That’s too bad because I watch to see Castle and Beckett work together. I’ve also seen info about who the “surprise” person is, and I have to say it’s not much of a surprise… and I’m tired of the character. I’ll DVR this episode and catch it later, maybe.

I think he’s referring more to the ambiguity of this line: “including a powerful enemy from her past”. Is the enemy one we haven’t met yet? It says “her past”, not “their (castle’s and beckett’s)past.

How is the press in the dark on this? It’s like every other press release out there for every single episode. There’s always a hint of mystery with each other. Some episodes are more talked about than others but so what? It’s not some conspiracy.
