‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 spoilers: More Peter Weller; also, how CCH Pounder could return
How about some “Sons of Anarchy” videos to help ensure that you get the weekend off right? Hopefully, you’re going to have a little bit of time in between celebrating Valentine’s Day and binge-watching “House of Cards” season 2 in order to check it out. (It you’re a diehard fan, you’ll do it before the binge-watching begins!)
These two videos below are not exactly spoiler-heavy, but we do find them to be very entertaining and informative, since it allows you to actually get to know some of the people responsible for giving us the great characters and the story that you have come to know and love. Sutter has an eclectic bunch of writers, and all of them have their unique stories to tell. (The first half of video #1 is especially interesting.) Another interesting thing about the video is that you learn a little bit about how the early days of the show went, especially when it comes to how the writers’ strike (remember that?) had a tremendous impact on the production of the pilot. As someone who got on reality TV thanks to networks desperate for programming during the strike, we have interesting memories of that period.
Now, let’s turn to a little bit of news on what you’re going to see onscreen. Sutter claims that Jimmy Smits will of course be back (and as a series regular), while you will also see more of Peter Weller both as an actor and a director on the show.
As for the status of CCH Pounder, who recent signed on to the “NCIS: New Orleans” backdoor pilot, the plan is to hopefully use her for a few more episodes regardless of if the show is picked up or not. In situations like these, Sutter advised that a discussion with the new series’ showrunner is one of the best ways to ensure that something can be worked out. We’ll just have to see first and foremost if this show gets picked up to series, which will be announced come May at the latest.
