TV quick hits: ‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 panel; Bruce Jenner debates, Bob Costas’ return

We are back with our CarterMatt TV Quick Hits and today we’ve got some news on all sorts of programming with some scoops on some drama, reality TV and late night shows.

“Sleepy Hollow” at PaleyFest! – We’ll start this article off for all of you who are still looking forward to PaleyFest this year, in particular when it comes to getting the opportunity to see some of the cast members of the Fox series in person in Los Angeles.

The show, which is starting production on season 2, will be represented at the Paley Center on Wednesday, March 19 by its stars Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, Katia Winter along with executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Robert Orci, Len Wiseman, Mark Goffman and Heather Kadin. That means that new series regulars John Noble and Lyndie Greenwood are probably not going to be in attendance, which is somewhat sad; but then again, you’ve already got a pretty packed panel.

What we find especially nice about this group is that in looking at the names above, Noble is maybe the only one that you were intimately familiar with on-screen prior to the past year.

Is Bruce Jenner leaving with “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”? – It depends on who you ask. A report from TMZ says that he is desperately trying to escape public life, whereas Kris Jenner tells ET Online that he was still going to be on the upcoming 10th season. We really think the more important question here is how in the world this show has stayed on the air for so many years?

Bob Costas stages return – For those concerned about NBC’s face of the Olympic Games, he told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that he is hoping to be back on the air this weekend following a nasty eye infection: “I’m hoping that I’m back by the weekend, and I certainly think I’ll be able to do the second half of the games … As soon as the symptoms get to the point where I can be in the studio, I’ll be there.”

Seth Meyers’ late-night guests – In addition to having Amy Poehler on his first show on Monday, February 24, Seth will also receive a visit from none other than Vice-President Joe Biden. Some other guests that will appear that week include Lena Dunham, and also Kanye West in a rare late-night appearance.
