ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: More on Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion’s ‘confession case’

Castle -There may not be a new episode of “Castle” season 6 on ABC tonight, but we still have some news that could very well lead to a few celebrations: Yet another reminder that there is some very awesome stuff coming up the rest of the way.

We wrote yesterday about the February 24 episode “Room 147,” which is going to be a seemingly easy case where there is someone who confesses to the crime that Castle and Beckett are investigating. Unfortunately, things start to get significantly messier when they realize that this person may not have actually committed the crime at all. We have a few more details on this now in an official synopsis from ABC, which helps to fill in the gaps when it comes to everything from the victim to the person originally accused of committing the crime. Check it out below:

“When a guilt-ridden young woman confesses to the murder of a struggling actor — knowing details only the killer could know — Beckett and Castle seem to have an open-and-shut case, until they uncover proof that their suspect couldn’t possibly be the killer. When a second person confesses, equally convinced they committed the murder, the team realizes the case is far more mysterious than they thought.”

Ultimately, it seems like Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion’s characters are going to have their work cut out for them on this one. While we’re going to have a little bit of time in order to figure out if there is something more to this case than meets the eye, it does on the surface feel like one of the more interesting cases of the entire season. Whoever actually committed this murder must have a lot of power in order to be convincing so many people into making confessions.
