‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: Take a look at Danny Trejo
The entire “NCIS” franchise has had its fair share of guest stars over the years, but we have to say with some certainty that one of our personal favorites coming up has to be Danny Trejo. The B-movie master, who has starred in “Machete” and also appeared in the obviously-phenomenal “Breaking Bad,” is going to be coming up on the upcoming February 25 episode of the show … and we’ve got the first photo of him to the left!
So what sort of role is Trejo going to play here? Think along the lines of Tuhon, a former assassin who has some ties to Sam and Callen’s early days. For all of the parties involved, this should be a pretty great story. It marks an opportunity for the two characters to have a fun story that allows for the to get a chance to have a big-name guest star on the show to boot. Typically, this is the sort of thing that is always in demand for the February sweeps … but a little something in the Olympics has caused things to go a little bit awry in that regard.
Personally, we’re hoping that this is going to allow for some more opportunities here in the future to see more of Trejo on the show, but that is just because we have an interest in seeing him in just about everything. Heck, we’d be game for a spin-off show that was just all about him trying to adjust to life as an ex-assassin. The comedic possibilities!
