‘The Walking Dead’ season 4: Norman Reedus doesn’t like to hear that he is untouchable

The latest -Can anyone really die on “The Walking Dead“? That all depends on who you ask. If you ask fans, most of them will tell you that there are some people, whether it be Rick, Glenn, Maggie, or Daryl, who the show would really hesitate to get rid of courtesy of their impact on the series. Regardless of whether or not those who are featured in the comics die there, that is no guarantee that they will do the same thing here.

When you speak with a guy like Norman Reedus, though, it actually turns out that the last thing that he really wants to hear from people is that his character is somehow above dying. Speaking to Digital Spy to preview the eight episodes that are ahead for the show, he stresses that there is really nobody who should feel safe and secure about their job in this crazy, complicated world:

“I don’t like to hear that at all. I don’t want to dare anybody, do you know what I’m saying? I’m happy that people really love my character, but they have flat out said that nobody is untouchable, even Rick. Let’s just knock on wood and keep our fingers crossed.”

In what seems to be a heck of a great endorsement for everything coming up in terms of the story, Reedus also claims that there have been times during production where he and Andrew Lincoln have talked to each other with great excitement about the scripts that they are receiving. There are rumors of some very Daryl-heavy installments moving forward this season, but by and large, the one that you will see Sunday night is going to very much revolve around Rick and Carl trying to make it on their own. You can catch a sneak peek for that here, and we’ll have a full review of the episode up tonight immediately after it airs.
