‘Criminal Minds’ season 9 spoilers: ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ star to appear

Over the past week, we have definitely been inundated with all sorts of “Criminal Minds” news thanks largely to the fact that we are coming off of the 100th episode of the show.

Now that the dust has started to settle about this story, we can now move ahead a little bit. Specifically, what we have to share now is a story on February 26 (the second one back after next week’s hiatus) that features an actress better known for her work on a CBS daytime drama. You’ve already seen from the title that this show is “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and here’s another hint before the big reveal: She has appeared in more than 700 episodes of the long-running soap!

This installment in particular is entitled “Gabby,” and you can read a good bit more about it courtesy of the official synopsis below:

“When a 4-year-old girl goes missing while staying with a relative in Mississippi, the BAU uncovers some startling truths as the team races to find the child and bring her to safety, on CRIMINAL MINDS, at a special time, Wednesday, Feb. 26 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Thomas Gibson directs the episode. Ashley Jones (‘The Bold and the Beautiful’) guest stars as Kate Hoffer, the missing girl’s mother.”

So why is this episode of “Criminal Minds” airing an hour later than usual? The simple answer to that is that the premiere of “Survivor: Cagayan” is going to be coming on the air that same night, and thanks to it premiering a little later this year due to the Olympics, it needs to have two episodes on to still end at the right time in May.
